These elasticized, velvet-covered scarf grippers are the most comfortable and reliable way to put an immediate end to scarf slippage. There is no more need to secure your scarves with uncomfortable hair pins that tug and pull and rip your hair out. The elasticized band conforms gently to the shape of your head without being too tight and the nap of the velvet, when properly worn, securely grips your hair on the under side AND your scarf on the top side! Wear with the nap of the velvet on the under side of the band (the side that touches your hair) pointing towards the back of your head. This causes the velvet to "grab" onto your hair preventing slipping. If the band slips right off of your head when pushing it gently backwards while being worn, then the nap is facing the wrong way. Simply turn your scarf gripper around and the problem will be solved. The grippers lie very flat and are virtually unnoticeable under scarves. Wear the grippers completely concealed under your scarves, or if you wish, wear them peaking out of the front of your scarves for added visual interest and a burst of color. I am so glad to have these scarf grippers and will never wear hair pins again!
